A chatbox????

Maybe if you put a chatbox at the bottom of the homepage, so that everyone could chat? =] it would be cool!

Chatboxes are a great idea. All Chobots, not just those over age 13, could particpate. However, that also means that non-chobots can chat, too. So, maybe we need a separate Chobot chat? I don't know. I am just speaking random thoughts.

I don't like XAT. The forum has it's own chat box and will only be visible to people who are logged in. But it's not enabled on this forum.

I don't like xat. It's so chunky! I plain shoutbox would be fine. Shoutmix is fantastic. http://www.shoutmix.com/main/ It is neat, tidy, easy to add mods ect. I was at a site before and they had it and it worked very well.

Um wouldn't the shoutbox help people get to know chobots and maybe even want to join? Not the other way around.

Yea. i really think a cheat box is a wonderuful idea though. You don't have to keep private messageing, insted you can just chat in the chatbox. I have no idea what kind it should be, but xat would probobly be the best. I also heard of chatbox.com i think they deleted it though.

chatbox.com I have used before and I agree it is a good one. I think it is gone now though because the site that used it doesn't have it anymore they have used to shoutmix.
But like I said XAT is really blocky but will likely apeal to younger children more But what if the child's parents chose them for moderate chat on chobots. Should they be allowed to chat then? I'm not sure
